Dear Mr. Haddon

I read your book “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time” as part of the English
lessons and I was very skeptical at the beginning. Since it irritated me that the book is
actually divided into two stories, but this story's are coherent. But I think that this kind was
cleverly chosen by you and also very successful. As a result, I liked the book very much.
You've got the thoughts of Christopher the autist in a simple way. Although the book is about an illness, there is nothing sentimental or depressing in this book. On the contrary, the book is filled with knowledge and wisdom. The many explanations and illustrations helped me to understand the book even better. A really excellent book that tells the story from the point of view of the autistic boy on the one hand and on the other it has been written very easy to
understand.
