Reflection: Write about what you are learning personally as a result of reading this text.

Personally, I've learned a lot from this book, which I did not think was possible in the 
beginning. At first I thought it was a thriller novel and a 15-year-old from a pubertal tried to 
clarify the death of a dog. This first assumption quickly proved wrong. What taught me to 
make no hasty decisions and assumptions. From chapter to chapter, I realized that the book still hid other secrets. Because it was not as it seemed to me from the outside. Each person carried his worries, which were not apparent at first. In addition, I realized how 
time-consuming and difficult it is to educate a child who is an autist. I did not really know this disease before, and I've learned through the book how these people perceive the world we live in, as well as how they deal with conflict internally. The autistic people need a lot of 
courage in their lives to be able to build trust in a person at all and have a simple 
conversation.

Dear Mr. Haddon   I read your book “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time” as part of the English  lessons and I was very skeptical at the beginning. Since it irritated me that the book is  actually divided into two stories, but this story's are coherent. But I think that this kind was  cleverly chosen by you and also very successful. Copy whole passages that are difficult or that you really like a lot. At first glance, it seems to be a thriller book. The title the Curious incident in the Night-time suggest that something terrible happened to a dog. I immediately started reading the book and I read the Chapters 1- 34. The level of the language is well readable and the chapter numbers are not as usual 1,2,3... but 2,3,5,7..., because Christopher loves prime numbers. Also, the story always digresses from the actual main story. At one point, for example, the protagonist (Christopher) is sitting in the police station for interrogation and tell us something about the existence of the Milky way.
